Statement on Passing of Senator Johnny Isakson

Susan and I were deeply saddened by the news of Senator Johnny Isakson’s passing. We were proud to have him represent the state of Georgia in the United States Senate and even more proud to call him a friend. We are forever grateful to him for championing the legislative effort to require large trucks in the U.S. to use their existing speed limiter technology. He showed his kindness in meaningful ways, like naming the bill in honor of our son, Cullum, who was killed by a speeding tractor-trailer that failed to stop. Everyone at Road Safe America will miss him and wish our sincerest condolences to his family and staff.
